RegioLab Bayern: eloprop supported development of a digital innovation center in Eggenfelden
Old building/malting plant in Eggenfelden in Hofmark Gern should become a place for tinkerers and creative people.
Over several years, eloprop supervised the project development of the digital innovation center “RegioLab Bayern”, which is to be built in the Alte Brauerei/Mälzerei in Hofmark Gern — the former castle economy — in Eggenfelden (Lower Bavaria). As early as 2016, eloprop GmbH was involved in preparing a market and potential analysis as a basis for planning the development of the future innovation center in Eggenfelden.
From 2021 to 2022, EloProp CEO Thomas Kästle was interim managing director of RegioLab Bayern GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded as a future operating company by the city of Eggenfelden and five companies from the region.
The project is funded by the EU, the Federal Government (premium national urban development project), the Free State of Bavaria and the city of Eggenfelden.
