Unconventional marketing: addressing potential users locally through visualized usage ideas

ELOPROP managing director Thomas Kästle together with Dörte Marlow, initiator and board member of Radis & Bona eG

Through our efforts, we were able to successfully fill a vacancy in the west of Regensburg. Initially, there were few interested parties in the approximately 200 square meter and aging commercial space with “retro charm”; the ownership and parking situation were difficult, as was corona.

However, because of our unconventional banners in the shop windows with the visualized usage ideas, a young neighborhood resident from the neighborhood became aware of the shop.

One year later, she is board member of the newly founded Radis & Bona BioRegiogenossenschaft Regensburg eG, which, together with a further 150 comrades, has now launched an organic food market at Rilkestraße 5a. Demand is very good, further offers and expansion into a meeting place in the district are being planned...

Unconventional marketing, modern business models, civic engagement, open-minded real estate owners,... that's how vacancy revitalization and neighborhood development work.

We wish Radis & Bona continued success, with heartfelt thanks to Dörte Marlow for the great collaboration and the joint photo!
