A variety of uses in the ground floor zones should ensure a lively environment.

In Düsseldorf-Flingern, a new residential district is to be built on Froschkönigweg — the Froschkönigviertel! On behalf of project development by pantera Homes GmbH (pantera AG, Cologne), in 2023, we carried out a study of possible uses that could be located in addition to living, in particular in the ground floor zones of the resulting buildings. These include, for example, local supply, office/services, trade, health and social services, gastronomy or even spaces for coworking, start-ups, cultural and creative industries, etc.

The results of the demand survey, together with our analysis of the location, environment, market opportunities of potential industries or business models, were incorporated as a basis for further planning after consultation with the client, their project partners and the urban planning of the state capital of Düsseldorf.
